About CFES Congress 2017 – The Entrepreneurial Engineer

180+ student leaders from over 50 engineering schools come together for Congress. From civil and petroleum to mechatronic systems and aerospace, nearly every discipline is represented. Students come from every year of study. Congress also attracts a disproportionately high percentage of women.

CFES Congress has two primary functions. First, it is a bilingual annual general meeting for The Canadian Federation of Engineering Students. Delegates discuss student council best practices and bring home actionable ideas to improve the students’ experience in engineering. The second function is to further develop our student leaders; the delegates attend workshops hosted by both experienced students and event sponsors.

Congress 2017 aims to highlight innovation, resourcefulness, multidisciplinary thinking and other skills crucial to entrepreneurship, and impart these skills in our delegates.Click here for more information.
