The YPG of the Ottawa CEO Chapter is teaming up with the NCHCA to offer a social event that would be open to the members of both associations. In addition to the professional development seminars that are typically organized by the YPG, social events are also initiated to allow participants a chance to expand their network of contacts and discuss common industry topics with participants from other companies, fields of work, or specialized field. The tour that has been selected through ‘Brew Donkey’ will provide beverage tastings at three (3) different establishments within the Ottawa area, as well as transportation to and from each location.

A link has been provided below which will provide additional details and a full description of the tour. This will be a casual event and therefore please feel free to participate for the entire event, or a portion, whichever is best suited to the individual. As the samples provided as part of this tour are alcoholic, and the establishments serve other alcoholic beverages, if you plan to drink during the event, please arrange for a safe method of travel after the event. The tour start and finish locations are closely located to several public transit stations. As well, there is the option to arranging transport through a taxi service.

Location Participants can get picked up at one of the following two locations:

987 Wellington Street West – Inside Maker House Co. 3:45pm (bus leaves at 4:00pm)

Craft Beer Market – 975 Bank St, Ottawa, ON 4:00pm (bus leaves at 4:15pm sharp)

The tour will begin and finish at these locations. Parking has not been provided as part of the tour however, City of Ottawa parking lots and spaces are available within the area. Carpooling to the event location is encouraged.

Cost: $69.00 (plus HST) includes transportation, a Suzy Q doughnut, all tour and sampling fees and an education session on craft beer.

A prompt will appear at the end of the event registration process online. Only 25 spaces available for this event, so register early!
