Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Ontario (ACEC-Ontario) will hold the Road Construction Contract Administrator Recertification (RCCA) Course for consultants working on MTO Contract Administration assignments.

RCCA is designed to update attendees on changes in policies and procedures, as well as administration and inspection procedural clarifications relevant to MTO Contract Administration Assignment. This course is updated yearly in conjunction with the MTO.

Who should attend:  This course is aimed at road construction contract administrators and is a requirement to maintain your RCCA designation. All OACETT members with the RCCA designation are required to complete the Road Construction Contract Administrator Recertification course every three years. In addition, MTO personnel with responsibilities for consultant assignments and contractors would benefit from taking this course.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this recertification course will be presented via Zoom Webinar.  All sessions will commence at 8:00AM.

Registration for all four sessions will open at 10:00 am on Tuesday October 20, 2020.  The cost of this session is $465.00 + HST.  Registration must be paid in full for the spot to be held.

 **48 before the webinar participants will be email a link to Zoom webinar as well as their copy of the digital RCCA manual.

RCCA Attendance Tracking Policy: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

ACEC-Ontario will provide completion certifications following the attendance of the one-day Road Construction Contract Administration Recertification course 

  1. Attendance is tracked both at the beginning of the day and mid-afternoon.
  2. Attendees are informed verbally at the beginning of the day of the requirement to be in the webinar both times and to be actively present.
  3. Failure to sign in both times will automatically exclude the individual from receiving the certification of completion.
  4. Failure to attend the entire course without the express permission of the instructor(s) will automatically exclude the individual from receiving the certification of completion.
  5. ACEC-Ontario Instructors may require an attendee to be removed from the webinar if their behaviour is deemed by the instructor to be disruptive to the rest of the attendees and they do not modify their behaviour once asked by an instructor to do so.
  6. Attendees who are asked by an instructor to leave the course prior to completion of the course because of their disruptive behaviour will not receive a certificate of completion.

Payment, Confirmation and Cancellation:

  • Courses must be paid in full. Failure to submit payment will result in the registration being cancelled, as waiting lists are maintained.

 

  • Cancellations received in writing, more than 10 business days prior to the start of the course will be assessed a $100.00 cancellation fee (per person, per course). Please notify Lauryn Weinberger ([email protected]) of cancellations.

 

  • Cancellations received less than 10 business days prior to the start of the course are non-refundable. Refunds will not be given if the registrant fails to attend any part of the course.

 

  • Qualified substitutions are allowed within the same course and date without incurring a cancellation fee. Please notify Lauryn Weinberger ([email protected]) of substitution notice prior to the start of the course.

 

Zoom Link Details/Digital Course Manual: The Zoom Webinar link as well as the digital PDF manual will be emailed out to all registered participant 48 hours prior to the start of the session.

Please note, the zoom link and manual will be sent to the email that is attached to the registration.  If you have used your email to register but are registering someone else, it is up to you to ensure the link is forwarded on.
